Womens
Ministry
Who are United Methodist
Women? They are women who enjoy being together and growing
spiritually, studying Gods word, building friendships, and sharing their talents and
experience with each other, and especially for
the benefit of the church and the community. These
fellowship opportunities include Fall and Spring Rummage Sales and a November Bazaar to
raise funds for UMW and church projects.
UMW meet periodically on the
first Wednesday of each month.
Elizabeth Circle meets at noon on the
second Thursday of each month.
Miriam Circle meets at 7PM on the
second Monday of each month.
For more information,
call UMW President Shirley Sturgill.
Womens Interest
Groups
There are special
programs and groups for women of all ages and at various stages of spirituality. Scripture teaches us to love one another and to
bear one anothers burdens. Womens interest groups are a means where women love
and care for each other through a variety of opportunities.
Small groups study and discuss topics relevant to growing faith and supporting one another
through the process. These small groups are
offered throughout the year, daytime and evening.
