WORSHIP:   to express worth or value to ‘someone’.  We believe that someone is Jesus Christ and He alone is worthy of our praise.  Jesus is the focus of our worship – in other words we worship an audience of One.  We direct our attention, our faith, our love, devotion, gifts and praises to Jesus - the One who was from the beginning of time and is for all time.   He came from heaven to earth to show the love, power, and compassion of God.  He died on the Cross for us and rose again in power.  We believe God’s Word is relevant for teaching and instruction for this age, just as it has been for every age since the beginning.  So we teach it, listen to it, and allow it to change our lives. 

When we worship, God comes to us through the Holy Spirit.   God comes to encourage, forgive, love, heal, bless, lead and empower us.  Our lives are changed.  With Christ all things are possible!

Worship at Maumee Church is energized, authentic, corporate and personal.  Expect caring and excited people, a relevant message, deep times of prayer, and a challenge to let the Lord send us out to serve Him by serving others.   Each word and feeling is for us as the Church together and also for us personally.  We offer an excellent blend of worship styles that includes traditional, praise, and contemporary.  We use music, drama, and teaching in a modern setting.  We seek not to entertain, but to engage in spiritual worship with our Holy God. 

We celebrate Christ in worship Sunday mornings:  8:30, 9:45, and 11 AM      Come - the Lord is here and loves to have us worship and celebrate God’s goodness!
